Hey, so back from Thanksgiving, and already a holiday is hot on my heels! Chanukah starts Sunday night. Before Chanukah used to be a week of holiday parties and taking a moment to light a menorah. Now that we have a kids, we’ve got to think about doing something every night for 8 nights. S is almost 4 months old, so we’re not doing anything out of the ordinary this year, but still, having a kid makes us give pause to think about the kinds of traditions we want establish in our family.
Nothing’s better than ooey, gooey, chewy sweet cinnamon rolls and these ones are made with coffee! The original recipe used instant coffee grounds, so I went to Trader Joe’s to pick up some, and I knew I would regret it. They have cold brew coffee concentrate – perfect! Not only is cold brew less bitter, I knew my husband would have no problem finishing it off.
Is this Autumn making you crave the spice, but you are so over the pumpkin? Enter cardamom! This Indian spice is no stranger to chai lovers everywhere. It’s bright and spicy, and just a tad sophisticated.
